The practice and strong culture of safety begins with each employee.

Zero Loss Safety Culture

Zero Loss

Flint Transco is an industry leader in the transportation services industry by consistently applying and practicing safety and environmental awareness in all our work.

We work with our customers to implement any additional safety requirements required by them because our vision is to be the "Customer's Service Provider of Choice" and "People's Employer of Choice". Our philosophy is to support and retain our employees through our safe work practices and work training, sending them home safely at the end of each work day.

Our new employees start out their orientation with a safety video, reading the Employee Safety Handbook, and taking part in the Petroleum Safety Training program. Regular safety meetings are held weekly at each of our branches. Behavior Based Observation (BBO) Cards are utilized extensively throughout Flint Transco at each branch and at each job site. Our leadership team and employees know that the feedback and level of awareness created from these cards serve to reinforce a safer work environment for everyone. Our Risk Management Assessment Matrix also provides crews a tool to evaluate safety levels, at all times, no matter what the work, using any piece of equipment. Safety Attest Audits are performed routinely and promote better safe work practices and procedures. Safety personnel are on-hand at each job site to ensure and support  the safety and success of our work for both our employees and customers.
